3 days in grayback
« on: October 26, 2007, 03:07:35 PM »
Yep spent another three days over there . The weather was warm and at times real windy, 30 + mph. Lots of deer running around and no sign of the rut. Must have seen thirty does and two little spikes. At one point made it to the top of a big hill and being a lttle winded, I coughed. The deer were jumping and running every where  :o.  I don't know who startled who but it was somthing else. Today was the last day for that unit, so now I'll probably hit st helens or wind river not sure yet. But I have to decide soon since the season almost over  :'(. Good luck! Guys/Gals  ;)
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

Hey blacklab, I shot my buck down there on Saturday the 20th.  Mine was definately starting to show signs of rutting.  I'd be interested in knowing the general area you were in if you don't mind send me a pm.  Hope you have great luck on the later hunts
